I like to think I’ve accumulated a measure of wisdom in my years on this planet. Here is a few of rules I live by:-
- Never trust a person who wears a hat while driving a car (unless it’s a convertible).
- Never trust a person who makes their living persuading you to part with your money.
- Never trust a person who says they don’t look in their handkerchief after they’ve blown their nose.
- If someone does you a kindness, make it a point to do a similar kindness to two other people.
- Anyone can say whatever they like, as long as they accept the consequences for saying it.
- Before you blame someone else for anything, look hard to see if you could have done anything yourself.
- Once you’re over 40, never trust a fart.
